Flycam Nano - Test
a Quickie-video-post after a long pause..
Bought a Flycam Nano from ebay for my Canon 550D. A budget steadicam of which I've read good reviews of. Got it really cheap.
At first when I got it I was a bit sceptical as it was so tiny. But after playing around with it a bit - I think it's quite a decent piece of equipment.
I didn't put much effort balancing it so you may notice some wobbling here and there.
Just gotta practise with it more..
Camera settings and focus were way off, so I didn't even try to make it look "sharp" or so - Just threw in some coloring which made it look even nastier :D
Also, If someone knows some nice image stabilization plug-in for AE, pls let me know :)

New stuff - the gallery!
Time for one is still yet to come, as for now I'll just publish the new gallery section where you'll find the latest still pics I've shot.
The first pics are from a rap gig I was attending with my ten year old sister on the winter break @ Ylläs. Shot with my new Canon EOS 550D and a Canon EF f/1.8 50mm II lens.

Shot with my new Canon 550D (running Magic Lantern fw.) and Topi's Canon 7D @ 60fps (shutter speed ~1/1000).

Old stuff, new site!
Just a quick experiment in 3ds max with lights, cameras and liquid. I also did some color grading in ae.
..and yes - I know the liquid bugs. I'll do better next time! ;)
I've been trying out my new camera for a few weeks now and here's some shots I recorded last night around my neighborhood in Jyväskylä, Finland.
The clips are straight out of the camera with no color correction and stitched together in Adobe Premiere CS5. The clips were recorded at 1280x720p @ 30fps
Camera: Canon 500D
Lenses used: Canon EF f/1.8 50mm II
